Scope of Work

Complete restoration to interior of this historic residential property designed by Cliff May, including water damage remediation, seismic improvement of exposed beams in Great Room, kitchen renovation, bathroom remodels, and period-accurate updates to historic tile floors. Total upgrade to smart electrical and HVAC systems. Exterior restoration including woodwork (gates, framing, windows, doors, shutters, and window grilles) finished with May's original paint and glaze finish treatment; pool, grading, drainage, and hardscape; remove, salvage, and reinstall rustic Spanish tile roof and membrane, including modernization to accommodate solar. Winner for the 2025 Preservation Design Award for Preservation or Restoration from the California Preservation Foundation.
